It is a fact that so much of what passes for Christianity in our time is not relevant to the world in which we live. In addition to this reality, much of what is postulated and advanced from the modern pulpit regarding current events and world affairs, is downright naïve or erroneous. It is imperative that God’s people possess a firm handle on what is happening in the nation and world around them. They must be liberated from the errant presuppositions that have consistently led otherwise sincere persons to improper conclusions concerning politics, economics, history and global affairs in general. In our post-9/11 world of intensely manipulative propaganda and disinformation, it is more urgent than at any prior time that sincerely motivated persons be able to properly interpret what they are being spoon fed by the conspiracy-driven, evil power brokers.
